Made of Stone este o piesă pentru întreaga familie, o narațiune despre un erou romantic, care se petrece printre povești și legende populare aproape uitate din regiunea montană Bieszczady. Publicul și actorii intră într-un tărâm magic al lui Bieszczady. Este o regiune în care legende neobișnuite, credințe misterioase și povești fantastice se împletesc cu realitatea țesută printre peisaje de basm.
Totuși, nu numai legendele au contribuit la crearea acestei povești. A fost inspirată, în primul rând, de un bărbat care, la contactul cu legendele, arată diverse, adesea extreme emoții. Unele dintre ele îl motivează să acționeze, în timp ce altele îl secătuiesc de putere.
Abundența de legende și povești misterioase de la Bieszczady a devenit o pânză pe care creatorii spectacolului au pictat scene individuale. S-a dovedit a fi ca un tablou care prezintă diferite tipuri de evenimente: uneori dramatice, alteori mărețe, aducand bucurie si speranta.

Made of Stone is a play for entire families, a narration about a romantic hero, which takes place among almost forgotten tales and popular legends from Bieszczady mountain region. The audience and the actors enter into a magical land of Bieszczady. It’s a region where unusual legends, mysterious beliefs, and fantastic stories are intertwined with reality woven among fairy-tale landscapes.
It is, however, not only the legends that have contributed to the creation of this story. It was inspired primarily by a man who, upon contact with the legends, shows various, often extreme emotions. Some of them motivate him to act, while others deprive him of strength.
The abundance of legends and mysterious stories from Bieszczady became a canvas on which the creators of the show painted individual scenes. It turned out to be like a painting showing different types of events: once dramatic, other time lofty; bringing joy and hope.

Scena Kalejdoskope group was established in 1999 in Krakow. It was founded by the actor and director Piotr Kulczyk. He deals with the implementation of theatrical performances (outdoor, street and costume shows) and film production (documentary film, advertising film, music video). Passion and commitment in creating each project resulted in several theatrical hits: a street-outdoor performance featuring actors on stilts entitled “Don Juan’s Heart” – exhibited in nearly two hundred Polish cities, spectacle “Circo Amaro” steeped in oriental mysticism, and an outdoor spectacle for children entitled “Graal”.
