Doar jumătate din traficul online este uman
Internetul nu este un mediu de comunicare atât de liber şi sigur pe cât ne place să credem, iar un studiu realizat de Imperva Incapsula arată că, în anul 2015, doar 51,5% din traficul online era generat de oameni, iar restul de roboţi virtuali. Totodată, studiul realizat pe un eşantion de 35.000 de website-uri mai arată că 29% dintre aceşti roboţi sunt răi, iar 19,5% sunt buni.
Roboţii buni sunt folosiţi să colecteze informaţii pe care organizaţiile le folosesc pentru strategii de marketing sau îmbunătăţirea website-ului din punct de vedere tehnic, iar cei mai mulţi roboţi răi, denumiţi de specialişti “imitatori”, au menirea de a ocoli sistemele de securitate a website-urilor.
Atenţie unde ne lăsăm informaţiile personale!
Psihologul Dan Ivănescu, preşedintele Asociaţiei Sănătate Mintală pentru Calitatea Vieţii, consideră că românii ar trebui să fie mult mai atenţi pe ce website-uri îşi lasă informaţiile personale atunci când se înregistrează sau se abonează, întrucât acestea vor fi folosite, la un moment dat, împotriva lor. “Gândiţi-vă doar că un sfert din traficul website-urilor este generat de roboţi virtuali, care au ca singur scop distrugerea sistemelor de securitatea pentru furt de informaţii personale. Comiterea de infracţiuni cibernetice a devenit un fenomen răspândit peste tot pe planetă, iar aceastea se produc de cele mai multe ori pe website-uri populare, deoarece operatorii roboţilor răi preferă să se axeze pe public numeros şi activ”, declară psihologul Dan Ivănescu.
Infracţiunile online au crescut odată cu vânzările online
Fenomenul infracţiunilor virtuale a crescut în acelaşi timp cu tendinţa oamenilor de a cumpăra online, iar numărul “imitatorilor” a crescut de la 19%, în 2012, la 24,5% în 2015, şi continuă să crească în anii următori. Sfatul psihologului Dan Ivănescu pentru persoanele care obişnuiesc să cumpere de pe diferite website-uri este să înveţe să fie precauţi, aşa cum sunt şi în viaţa reală atunci când aleg persoanele de la care să cumpere. Deasemenea, specialistul îi sfătuieşte pe români să se informeze mai bine cu privire la cât de securizat este acel website pentru tranzacţii online înainte de a face cumpărături.
