Mâine de la ora 21:30, în cadrul Festivalului Babel, sunteți invitați la spectacolul TĂCEREA – Teatrul Biuro Podrozy din Polonia în Piața Mihai Viteazul din Târgoviște.
Cunoscută pentru legendara sa producție de teatru de stradă Carmen Funebra, care explora efectul devastator al războiului asupra civililor, compania poloneză Teatr Biuro Podróży prezintă partea a doua, Tăcerea. Teatru fizic, focuri, montare neobişnuită, păpuşi şi muzică vor susține nesfârşita poveste a refugiaților şi a migranților prinşi într-o spirală a războiului, dar şi visul de a scăpa.
În contextul carnagiului şi al purificărilor care au loc zilnic în Orientul Apropiat, ce au ca rezultat exodul în masă al oamenilor, spre securitatea continentului european, Teatr Biuro Podróży întreabă de ce aceşti oameni şi-au părăsit casele, expunându-se pericolului şi umilinței strămutării. După Carmen Funebra, care a vorbit despre atrocitățile războiului din Bosnia/Yugoslavia, părea imposibil ca ceva mai rău să se mai poată întâmpla. Totuşi, realitatea a bătut imaginația. Suntem martorii acestui fenomen ce a depăşit orice limită, stârnind preocupare şi teamă în Europa.
Teatr Biuro Podróży observă situația din punctul de vedere al locuitorilor oraşului asediat. Eroii spectacolului sunt copiii- martori inocenți ai morții şi ai violenței – victime ale atrocităților şi strămutărilor. Pentru aceşti copii şi viitorul liniştii lor sufleteşti, să încercăm să ne punem în locul lor, pentru un timp.

Famed for its legendary street theater production, Carmen Funebre, which explored the detrimental impact of war on civilians, the Polish company Teatr Biuro Podróży presents its sequel, Silence. Physical theatre, fire, unusual staging, puppetry and music will pick up the continuing story of refugees and migrants caught up between the spiral of war and the dream of escape.
In the context of carnage and cleansing happening daily in the Middle East, which results in the mass exodus of people to safe havens in Europe, Teatr Biuro Podróży is wondering why these people left their homes and exposed themselves to the dangers and humiliation of displacement. After Carmen Funebre, that story about the atrocities of war in Bosnia/Yugoslavia, it seemed impossible that anything worse could happen again. However, the reality exceeded the imagination. We witness this phenomenon beyond scale, which generates concern and fear in Europe.
Teatr Biuro Podróży observes the situation from the point of view of the residents in the besieged city. The performance heroes are the children – innocent witnesses of the death and violence – the victims of atrocities and displacement. For these children and their future peace of mind, let`s try to be in their shoes for a while.
